Released at Halloween and later nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance, Ultramega OK is Soundgarden’s debut full-length album, the only one that Soundgarden recorded for SST Records. “Flower” was the only single released from the album, and featured the sound of Kim Thayil blowing across the strings of his guitar.
